Diet Yumm is an in-person and online dietitian service based in Melbourne. We specialize in evidence-based, personalized nutrition practices, with our flagship Mind to Plate framework. This framework has been meticulously formulated and tested on numerous clients.
The framework begins with detailed assessments, delving into the root causes of dietary challenges to cultivating mindful eating practices and empower you with essential skills such as meal prep and planning from scratch, ensuring all aspects of your nutrition journey are covered.
We offer consultations through various channels including Zoom, face-to-face sessions, and telehealth, available across 15+ locations in Melbourne.
Purva Gulyani
Founding Director

Meet Purva Gulyani – an Accredited Practising Dietitian and lifelong member of the Indian Dietitian Association. Currently pursuing PhD at Latrobe University. Purva brings over 16+ years of clinical dietitian experience to the table.
In 2016, she founded Diet Yumm in Melbourne, initially with one location, and it has now expanded to 15 sites. Purva’s approach to private practice aligns with her values of promoting sustainable and positive health changes. Purva is not just a practitioner; she’s a firm believer and follower of evidence-based practice, making health guidance as reliable as it is beneficial.
Before calling Melbourne home, Purva led the Department of Nutrition in Bariatric Surgery at a multispeciality hospital in Delhi, India. Notably, she was the first dietitian to attain the Bariatric Care Specialist title by the Surgical Review Corporation, USA (2013-2018). A true advocate for good health, Purva is also actively involved in community work, particularly focusing on improving the health and well-being of the South Asian community. Her commitment to this cause is further reflected in her role as a media spokesperson for Dietitians Australia.

Anshuman, Co-Director of Diet Yumm, is a seasoned hospitality professional with a rich background spanning 15 years. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. Anshuman is the go-to person for all matters related to client satisfaction, displaying an innate ability to focus on minute details that enhance the overall experience.
His commitment to being helpful and client-centric sets the tone for Diet Yumm’s approach, ensuring that every interaction leaves a lasting positive impression. Beyond the world of hospitality, Anshuman finds joy in the realms of singing and cooking, showcasing a passion for creativity both in and out of the kitchen. As Co-Director, he plays a pivotal role in shaping Diet Yumm’s commitment to excellence, combining his extensive industry experience with a personal touch to make every aspect of the culinary journey truly delightful.

Simran Lodha

Meet Simran Lodha – An Accredited Practicing Dietitian who graduated in 2022. Since then, she has had a 3 month dietetic internship experience in a startup called Foodini. She is currently working as a dietitian in a fitness company and as a private practice dietitian at Diet Yumm.
Simran’s approach in practice involves carrying out thorough assessments and providing sustainable and practical nutrition recommendations that promote overall health and wellbeing. Simran believes in Evidence Based practice and is actively building on her skills and knowledge by partaking in ongoing professional development.
In addition to her passion for her job, Simran is a big foodie! She loves trying different cuisines and restaurants! Her favorite cuisine is Thai, as she grew up eating a lot of Thai food while growing up in Bangkok, Thailand. She also likes to relax by watching her favorite tv shows and spending time with her loved ones!

Subah Arora is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and is a member of Dietitians Australia. Subah graduated from Deakin University in 2023 and brings with her a wealth of experience through undergoing professional university placements at renowned institutions, such as Epworth, Northern Health, Austin Health, West Gippsland Healthcare Group and Coles.
In 2023, Subah became an integral part of the esteemed team at Diet Yumm, where her strong love of nutrition and making fruitful health decisions shines through. With her background in various healthcare settings and the food industry, Subah is dedicated to empowering her clients and championing them in each step of their health journey.
At Diet Yumm, Subah provides comprehensive dietary counselling that caters to individual needs. Her approach combines evidence-based practice with a personalised touch, ensuring each client receives the most effective and up-to-date nutritional guidance to achieve their health and wellness goals.

Nutritionist and Client Care Manager

Meet Dhwani Biyani – a Nutritionist and Client Care Manager at Diet Yumm with over 2 years of experience and did all her education in India. She holds a BSc in Home Science with a focus on Food, Nutrition, and Dietetics. Later, she pursued a Master’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, specializing in Nutrigenomics.
Passionate about women’s health, Dhwani dives deep into PCOS, fertility, gut health, diabetes, and weight management. She spent a year working for a women’s health company, gaining valuable experience. In February 2022, Dhwani joined Diet Yumm with a goal to expand her career in Australia. She focuses on enhancing our patient
education workshops, crafting impactful social media content, and delivering holistic care to our valued clients. She also has her eyes set on becoming an Accredited Practicing Dietitian soon.
Outside of her work, you will often find her enjoying the famous T.V show F.R.I.E.N.D.S. or creating content for her social media. She’s not just a nutrition expert; she’s also a content creator and loves sharing her knowledge with a wider audience.
