Purva is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with over 18 years of clinical experience, currently completing her PhD in culturally tailored dietary assessment tools at La Trobe University. She is a full member of leading bodies such as Dietitians Australia (DA), the Nutrition Society of Australia (NSA), Australian & New Zealand Metabolic and Obesity Surgery Society (ANZMOSS), and the Indian Dietetic Association (IDA).
In 2016, Purva founded Diet Yumm, which has grown from one location to over 15 sites across Melbourne, offering evidence-based and culturally sensitive care for a wide range of health conditions.
Her career began as Head of Nutrition in a bariatric centre in Delhi, where she became the first Indian dietitian to be accredited as a Bariatric Care Specialist by the Surgical Review Corporation (USA). Today, she is a sought-after voice in the media and community education to spread evidence-based nutrition.

This program is designed for adults using GLP based or other metabolic medications for diabetes, weight, insulin resistance, PCOS, or related conditions who want structured nutrition and lifestyle support during treatment and beyond.
No. This program does not replace medical treatment. We work alongside your prescribed care and can liaise with your GP or specialist with your consent to ensure nutrition support is aligned with your medical plan.
No referral is required to join. However, we are happy to collaborate with your GP or healthcare team if appropriate.
No. While you will receive personalised nutrition guidance, this is a comprehensive aftercare program that includes education, coaching, supplement planning, and behavioural support rather than a one size fits all diet.

✔️ Time-limited access (6 weeks) to session replays after the program concludes, as we prioritise keeping guidance current and evidence-based.
We encourage live attendance wherever possible, as this is where the biggest changes happen.
Live attendance is strongly encouraged as this is where the greatest benefit occurs. Limited time session replays may be available where appropriate but are not intended to replace live participation.
Yes. This is a fully online program and open to participants worldwide.Whether you're in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the US, or beyond, you can access all sessions, meal plans, and support from the comfort of your home. Please note that coordination with healthcare providers applies to Australian-based practitioners only.
Group programs are not covered under Medicare, but your initial 1:1 can be partially covered with a GP care plan. Depending on your private health fund, part of your individual consultation may be claimable. We recommend checking directly with your insurer.
Groups are intentionally small with a maximum of 5 participants. This allows for personalised support, meaningful discussion, and a safe space to ask questions.
