Ingredients:
  • 1 cup pearl millet flour (bajra flour)
  • 1/2 onion (chopped)
  • 1 green chilly
  • 1 tsp ginger (grated)

  • 2 tbsp coriander (chopped)
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • ghee
Method:
  1. Prepare the Dough:
    1. In a bowl, add bajra flour, onion, green chilli, ginger, garlic, coriander, and salt.
    2. Gradually add warm water and knead gently to form a soft, pliable dough.
  2. Shape the Rotis:
    1. Divide the dough into equal portions.
    2. Using your palms or parchment paper, gently pat each portion into a round roti.
  3. Cook:
    1. Heat a tawa on medium flame.
    2. Cook the roti on one side until brown spots appear, flip and cook the other side.
    3. Apply a few drops of ghee or oil if desired.
  4. Serve hot:
    1. Serve warm with curd, dal, or seasonal vegetable sabzi.
